Special gift lets little girl with cerebral palsy take her first steps

Samantha is a young single mum to twins Melody and Zoey, now seven.

Melody has cerebral palsy and can’t walk on her own so when her mum was nominated for a special surprise, Melody was given an incredible gift to help her walk for the first time.

Village Media's 12 Days of Christmas Random Acts of Kindness is a programme where deserving people are nominated for a Christmas miracle.

Nominated by Samantha’s mum, the programme's film crew arrived at Samantha’s home to surprise her with a walking aid called an Upsee, which when attached to an adult allows a child to walk with them.

Samantha had wanted one for a long time for Melody so when she sees it she… actually, you know what?
