If I want to get a bank draft (for a car buying sum) can I go to any branch of my bank?

Thanks.

Yes. I never go to my own branch as it's not convenient for me anymore. The only thing they said I needed to go there for was if ordering a first chequebook.

I needed a draft to pay for work done on the house after the storm, I got it from the credit union and wasn't charged like I would have been from the bank. So of you have a cu account do a transfer and get the cheque from there.

Hi, if you have internet banking just get the account details of who you are paying and do it online.
