So we're getting married in 8(ish) weeks. Now, our hotels house wine costs 18 euro a bottle but, if we were to buy it we'd only pay for what was used.

But if we bring in our own wine we are charged corkage of 8 euro and could be left with a couple of bottles left after the night ( which we wouldn't drink)

So, until I hear back from the manager in regards to if he is going to offer us a discount and if it would be cheaper/dearer than buying our own wine I was just wondering if anyone would have any recommendations for wine from lidls?

Thanks in advance :)

No idea about red but we always get the White Pinot Grigio, it's called something Delle Venezie and it's yum. It's about 5.50 a bottle but they sometimes have it on offer for 4 quid

Haven't seen that Pinot Grigio but I must try it I like anything with "Venezie" in the title :)

I like a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc from Lidl called "Viajero", the regular one not the Reserva

Way out Wesht!!
I love that Pinot grigot too. PG is a nice light, crisp wine that would be perfect for a wedding this time of year.

Do Lidl do any nice whites in a box? I don't generally like Chardonnay.

We bought a couple of cases of the Pinot grigot on special in lidls at the moment and it's quite nice. :)
