ooh ooh ooh ... what a great idea!
Can you add me in too please Clauds?
I really won't be able for matching food with wine - well other than lifting something straight from a book which would clearly be unethical.

So are the instructions/rules further back?

cantwait - for my wines I googled info on the red wine and I put down what the label said for the white wine. I love NZ sav blanc so I have a pretty good idea what it goes with so was able to recommend a few dishes. but just google the wine and see what it says!

i think it's usually after you drink the wine that you'll be able to guess what the food goes with! That is if we're all able to remember what the wine was and are able to type a recommendation!!

No rules really - a red & white will be picked every 2 weeks (picking one of each as some people don't drink white/red), price limit €10, then knock the wine back and review it if you're able. Optional extras are the initiation ceremony with 4LM and a cheese grater!, knacker drinking the wine in a field/meadow somewhere and washing it down with a few flagens of cider

Squeak & Cantwait added to the list!

amazing, according to one of the threads having a wine club is pretentious  honest to God this place amazes me on a daily basis. I do wonder how some of these people have friends in real life.
