No need to miss Santa as two new Drive-Thrus save Christmas

From the team that brought you Santa’s House Express, Ireland’s leading Santa experience for the past 7 years comes the announcement of two new Christmas events this festive season to guarantee families in Kildare and Dublin their annual visit with Santa. Santa’s House Express Drive-Thru Christmas will be running at the expansive 5-star Palmerstown House Estate, Naas, County Kildare with Flight Before Christmas taking place at Weston Airport, Lucan, County Dublin from December 5th until December 23rd.

Both events will invite each family bubble to travel together safely in their own car while enjoying the festive fun with Santa and his magic merry helpers.

Santa’s House Express Drive-Thru Christmas

Located on the 1100 acre Palmerstown House Estate Santa’s House Express Drive-Thru Christmas is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit whilst adhering to the Government guidelines. This new event provides assurance alongside the original Santa’s House Express experience which has been running for the past 7 years in County Kildare.

Santa’s House Express Drive-Thru Christmas is an event like no other. The journey through the Christmas wonderland begins when you arrive at the north gates of Palmerstown House Estate where your pre-booked ticket will be scanned. You and your family will then embark on your adventure through the beautiful 4km, up to 90-minute long self-drive experience.

The festive route takes you past Elf Town, Santa's Toy Factory and the Reindeer Stables. Marvel at the Elves as they make their final preparations for Santa's busiest night of the year. Turn down Candy Cane Lane where the true magic of Christmas comes alive, with twinkling lights and Christmas decorations aplenty it’s a street bursting with festive cheer.

Next up is Santa's Drive-Thru Grotto deep within the Palmerstown House Estate woodlands where you will be greeted by Santa and his friends who will wish you a ‘Happy Christmas’. The Elves will have age appropriate gifts for all little visitors which will be delivered to your car.

The fun doesn’t stop following your visit to Santa. The Drive-Thru Christmas continues through the beautiful grounds and the Wonderlights of Christmas. Visit the Enchanted Forest with all its woodland creatures and magical friends. The daytime guests will then make their way to the Drive-In Christmas Movie Experience while nighttime visitors will continue on the Wonderlights trail for a bit longer to enjoy beautiful lighting displays around the stunning manor grounds before arriving at the Drive-In Movie.

Flight Before Christmas

Santa has transformed the giant aircraft hangars of Weston Airport into his Magical Workshop this festive season.

Climb aboard the most magical flight of the year and travel down the dazzling 1km runway for a journey through a festive stream of lights. Flight Before Christmas invites you to buckle up for a take off like no other amongst twinkling lights alongside stunning winter creatures while enveloped in jolly Christmas music.

Upon landing in the Magical Workshop, guests will first go through the “Elf-Ray” where Santa’s trustee elves will check that you’ve all been very good, in order to give you your very own stamped Elf Passport.

Once your family car is inside Santa’s giant workshop, the elves and the big man himself will put on a wonderful stage show like never before, full of song, dance and jovial Christmas cheer.

The present machine will be working full tilt making special gifts for each good little girl and boy with the elves hand-delivering every toy to your car.

Both events culminate at the Drive-In Cinema where all that’s left to do is sit back, relax and soak up the festive cheer with some hot chocolate and other festive treats available while watching 'The Snowman’ by Raymond Briggs and other animated Christmas classics. With award-winning animation and iconic music, these are the perfect festive movies for all the family to enjoy.
