Video shows kids so engrossed in their iPads they don’t notice strangers replacing their parents

We have all been there… we hand over the iPad to our kids in order to keep them occupied while we cook or clean.

Well, a new experiment by Dolmio (the pasta sauce people) has revealed a terrifying truth of the use of technology among children.

Dolmio posted a video to their YouTube channel this week, and it has been gaining a lot of attention.

In the clip, we see four different kids who are very focused on their iPads.

The commentator informs the viewers that changes are going to be made in the room where the child is, to see if they notice.

It starts small, with paintings being changed, but it gets more serious.

The real parents and siblings of these children are swapped out for total strangers, and NONE of the children notice.

The video has been viewed 56,000 times since it was posted, with a number of people commenting on it.

One parent wrote: "Excellent and memorable for all the RIGHT reasons! Tech is a DRUG – BAN IT at the dinner table."

The message behind the video is to switch off all gadgets for dinner, and enjoy time as a family.
