TV presenter makes baby announcement on Instagram

Posting a photo of her adorable dog looking rather forlorn on Instagram,  American TV star Chelsea Handler has gotten people talking  after she captioned the shot: “It’s like 24 hour watch. He must know I’m pregnant.”

We’re used to seeing celebrities use their Twitter and Instagram accounts to share exciting baby news, so we’re not sure if American TV star Chelsea Handler is going down the same route or making a tongue-in-cheek remark, but either way she certainly got social media buzzing!

The 39-year-old comedian has discussed pregnancy and motherhood in the past and appeared to think that particular route wasn’t for her, saying: “I definitely don’t want to have kids. I don’t think I’d be a great mother.”

Speaking on Lifetime’s The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, the star went on to say: “I don’t want to have a kid and have it raised by a nanny. I don’t have time to raise a child.”

Chelsea hasn’t made any further comment on yesterday’s interesting post, but we’re sure we haven’t heard the last of this one.
