This is definitely the most adorable Christmas photo ever

There are plenty of scary looking Santas with terrified children adorning our newsfeeds recently, but one family in Maryland got a picture that they will undoubtedly treasure forever.

Taking their daughter Scarlett on her very first visit to Santa, the little girl was clearly so overwhelmed by it all that she couldn’t stay awake long enough to pose alongside the man himself. So, making the most of the moment, Santa decided to curl up for a nap as well!

The result, as you can see, is undoubtedly this year’s most adorable Santa photo.

The photo first appeared in the family’s local newspaper, The Aegis, with proud mum Jennifer Sawyer Genna explaining: “She passed out, so Santa decided to take a little snooze for her first picture!”
