DH has just rang me saying "feck it, book a hotel at the beach & lets enjoy the w'end of sunshine"

Trouble is, I've no idea where to book as it's just for one night.

Bray perhaps??

Any suggestions welcome. Don't want to have to drive too far, so somewhere on the East coast.

Yes Bray is great, esp when the weather is good. Lots to do, beach fantastic, and lovely hotel just outside bray town called the wilton hotel, very reasonable, and directly across the road is kilruddery house and gardens, fantastic place.

Waterside hotel in Donabate.

Was going to suggest the Sandhouse in Rossnowlagh as its s great hotel on the beach. In south Donegal so prob about 2 hours from where you are

Citynorth hotel? Near laytown, bettystown, balbriggan

Does it have to be Dublin ? What about Rosses Point near Sligo town ? Yeats Country hotel might be doing great deals, sea just 200 yds from the hotel, lovely walk to the closest beach is about 10 mins
