Dresses or cardi I'd hang in the wardrobe, tops I might, jeans I leave on a chair.

I put them away in the wardrobe. I'm one of those saddo's that can't sleep if the bedroom is untidy. :lookround:

I throw them across a chair or hang them off the handles of the wardrobe. Not the most tidy person here.

A dress/cardi I would hang inside out (to air it?) on the wardrobe door.
But I hardly ever wear the same thing two days running.

Ewww. Wearing clothes on more than one occasion? How delightfully common. I pass mine on to my PA.

You'd want to talk to her about that, mine lets them air overnight and has them ironed and hanging by the time I'm getting dressed, normally after my hairdresser and makeup artist have left.

On the floor  Our room is full of baby stuff at the moment, I don't have anywhere else to put them and I don't like putting stuff I've worn back in the wardrobe. When DS moves to his own room and I get my chair back (it had to make way for the cot), my clothes can go back to being folded onto it for the night.

I rarely wear work clothes 2 in a row unless it's something that needs to be dry cleaned, if Imdo usually trousers they get hung on hanger on outside of wardrobe and back in wardrobe. If I wear clothes for couple of hours in the evening or after my shower they get folded on chair in my room.

I put them on a chair. But sometimes they end up back in the wardrobe the next day as I usually wear something different. It kind of bugs me putting worn clothes back in the wardrobe as I like to keep track of how many wears they've had ... So I know when they need a wash to be freshened up iykwim.... Am I alone?!

No your not which is why I never put them back in the wardrobe.
The only think I would usually wear a second time is jeans/combats/hoodies/cardis and when they come off they go on the back of the bathroom door to be worn the next day.

Really?

I've a few work outfits that are dry clean only, there's no way I'd be sending them off to the dry cleaners unless they were dirty. They don't get dirty with me wearing them in the office for a few hours. So I don't. Am I supposed to ban them from the wardrobe? Hmmmm don't think so.

What does freshen up mean? Am I a slob??

the floor... obviously... if i don't end up wearing them i hang them back up on whatever rail they belong. this doesn't bother me as we don't keep our clothes in our bedroom so our bedroom is always tidy.

I often wear something for an hour so it's worn, but then change my mind but i don't worry about keeping track of how many wears something has had, i have a system.... if i can still smell washing detergent (sp) off it it's clean. a vest top won't have any smell of detergent after a day, but a jacket/hoody or something would and is therefore fairly freshly washed. also, i can judge by the make up/tan/deodourant/moisturizer residue on the inside of an item how much wear it's had

No, dry clean stuff doesn't get much freshening here! I mean stuff like t-shirts that only got a light wearing .... But after a second light wearing you would want to wash them!
