Emmm, I might be pretty stupid but the definition of Fornication is sex between unmarried people, right? I would bet statistics back up most unwanted pregnancies are the result of unmarried people having sex, yeah? I don't really get the big hoohaa over what she said, when it is in fact, fact :eh: .

Its the way she said it, she said it was a sin first of all...as a mum who had a baby outside marriage I find that word really offensive. Its also a massive generalisation, I don't think abortion stats cover marital status, finally so what if people are married /single or something else? Its got feck all to do with the issue that was being discussed.


This. Precisely. It was the entire tone of ABORTION IS FOR SINFUL WEAK PEOPLE WHO CANNOT BE AS HOLY AS I AM that got to me. Well, that and the complete lack of logic.

My own perfectly wanted child is the result of "fornication", come to think of it...
