Temperature should be between 36.1 and 37 so it is a bit high and I would give Calpol. Hope your lo is better soon!

Yes, that's a bit high, I'd probably give Calpol and keep a close eye on things.

Have you tried saline spray to clear her nose, and Karvol?

Depends on how you have taken her temperature.

Normal range with my Braun ear yoke for a 0-2 year old is is 36.4 - 38.0

Normal ranges also vary with age.

Oral mercury thermometers and oral digital thermometers also have different 'normal' ranges.

Hope your LO is okay.

BTW, not a bad idea to stick to your favourite thermometer and take her temp when she is very well. That way you will have a reference point if you feel she's a little off.

All the best,

podxx

I never trust the thermometers  old fashioned way is the best... Put the palm of your hand on her back between her shoulder blades. If its just hot, she's ok. If its what I describe as fire hot she has a temp. If you need a "normal" feel to judge from stick your hand on another child's back first, or a family member if there is one around. Trust me, if it's a temperature hot you will know straight away.

Hope the little one feels better soon xxx
