I think I'm set on Esme (this week anyway :D )for a girl but what do ya think of Iris as a middle name. I like how Esme Iris sounds but have I got a pregnancy brain on?

Very pretty names individually but wouldn't be crazy about them together, sorry. They could end up sounding like 'It's me arse' if people say it too fast.

Hi,
Dd1is Esme so I love the name just get lots of people asking if it from Twilight, it's not, I just liked the name. I like Iris too, beautiful names.

Esme reminds me of a character from a tv programme of years ago - A Country Practice.

I do think it is a pretty name but just can't separate it from Esme Watson.

i like Esmé it can be short for Esmerelda which I also like and I think Iris is sweet too.

I remember she was always making Lamingtons, I always wanted to try one, then when I did they were horrible things altogether :lol:

Esme Sorry unless its parent or grandmother name its not one I'd like. But its your baby so its your choice. It's the hardest job in the world naming your little girl. I can imagine princess iris
but not Esme.
