was at my dads last night with all my kiddies helping him with his float for todays parade , my moher in law is in the same group as him so she arrived about an hour later to help also, later another lady arrived to to help and asked who the kids were my MIL SAID they were my dads granchildren, i looked at her and she just carried on "LIKE EXCUSE ME BUT THEY ARE YOUR GRNDCHILDREN TOO !!!! wagon :bomb: :bomb: :bomb:

Was she not just saying it to explain the context of them being at your Dad's house? Like if she'd said "they are my grandchildren" then maybe someone not knowing the connection would have thought she was a bit cheeky just bringing her grandchildren along.....

oh no, they lady in question knew i was married to her son (mil son ) but would have never met the kids she practialy blanked them all night my dad came to the car to hug and say bye to them she didnt even acknowledge us leaving

You should have said I hope they didn't inherit their granny's bad memory they are her grandchildren too!! :)
(We never seem to think of the right thing to say though when we're put on the spot like that!)
