That's awful it's not in your chart about it! You had some ordeal along with labour!!!! Mind me asking was it MRSA on skin or in blood? If it does end up being MRSA can it be treated at home? I would do anything not to have to admit son to hospital again.

I was at hospital myself today so just enquired at reception about where to send complaint and ended up in meeting with Risk Manager and Nursing Manager! Everything was noted down and agreed that I will send in formal letter of complaint so I have time to write everything down. Also want to wait to send in complaint until after results are back. Bumped into one of sons doctors (an intern, and spotted the ear and throat infection) and she couldn't believe they left him home especially when he still has chronic diarrhoea and not eating! That was all I needed to hear!!!!
Fingers crossed diarrhoea stops before Friday and he starts eating again for me!!!

Got call from hospital, the swab my gp used for sample was out of date so they couldn't test. Will need to be swabbed again.
Only catch my go is closed today and even if I go tomorrow for swab sure they're expired!!!! Dr said urgency to get swab today so could have results by Friday,if wait for gp we're looking at Mon/Tues for results.
Back to square one!!!!

Hi babeno4,got swab taken yesterday in hosp and his own dr checked him over. Taken off all oral antibiotics to ease his tummy an diarrhoea as he would have everything flushed out over gastro and antis. Got prescribed topical antibiotic to put on Iv scab and also he's developed blister on foot that got swabbed and use cream on.
I bought Aptamil milk for him to build up system again. He's doing really good now the scan isn't as swollen anymore and healing slowly, sure he's only delighted showing off his bandage!

Will have results Monday xxxx

Thanks you've been a star the past week xxxxx

It wouldn't be any harm to put him on the Udos Probiotic to build him back up.
