I have antibiotics to take on an empty stomach. The instructions say 'take on an empty stomach or an hour before a meal'. I've just gone and eaten two choccie biccies... What'll I do? How long should I leave it before I can take the pill? Can't wait forever to have lunch - am hungry already! If I have to wait an hour now then take the pill and wait another hour before lunch I'll be fainting!

are they clavamel? I don't know but I had to take them and I would never take them again. I posted here and some of the girls recommended taking them on a full stomach rather than an empty one, it might be an idea.

On day 3 (TMI) I had the worst stomach for a good 7-10 days afterward. Nothing helped everything just ran through me.

mind yourself.

No, it's flucloxicillin.

ok sorry for the drama! I took them when I was pregnant with DD and they were fine no side effects apart from extreme tiredness!

I think you just have to take at the start of a meal or even 15 mins before, it usually explains more clearly on the information leaflet rather than the label, if that helps.

Oh, phew! Wasn't looking forward to the runs!

I didn't get a leaflet with it, so it's not a major issue then? I took it a little while ago, left about half an hour after the biccies!
