The next Dublin southside sling meeting will be at the Panda Playcafe at there Ballsbridge location. You can find out about there prices and location on there homepage: http://www.pandaplaycafe.com/
You will get a 20% discount when you mention Babywearing Ireland at the entrance.
As we had only three peopple coming to the last slingmeeting I`m asking you to let us know if you are attending to give us a rough idea about numbers.

Will do my best to be there if I'm not in hospital (fingers crossed I get a few weeks of peace!)

Are there ever any meets at the weekend? I want to try some slings before baby arrives but am working. I used a peanut on dd but it was too small so not great. Used a mei tai that had buckles when she was older but not sure if it is ok for newborn?

The last Dublin sling meeting I organised was on the northside on a saturday in february. I might not have posted here on magicmum. We addvertise all meetings on the babywearing Ireland forum and on the Babywearing Ireland fanpage. We are aiming for two slingmeetings a month, one on the north and the other on the south. I`m also trying to have one on a weekend every so often that working parents can attend.

I'll be there. (I've said I'm attending on fb)

Really excited to attend my first sling meet, as I'm eager to do lots of babywearing but don't have a clue where to start.

Yes, you can try out some slings with your baby. Don`t expect to learn how to use slings if you are not familiar with them. I will give a quick demo of all the diffrent type of slings and then help everybody who likes to try out slings.

Sounds good. I was hoping to have a look at a ssc which might suit my dh but as he can't be there I'll have to try something that I think he might manage. Does that sound stupid? He is well able to slings as he can manage the jpmbb but wants something for the middle of the night!

Looking at your ticker your baby is at the age when they are long enough to fit into a soft structered carrier. You can try out my SSC and hopefully somebody else will bring some other SSC to try out. Unfortunately I can not hire out my own sling that your hubby can try it out.

Thanks Anja! Don't worry, I won't steal yours  would be nice to see if she fits and if it is comfortable to wear though as so far the only thing I have found I can carry for any length of time is the jpmbb.

I'll be there with either two or three little ones (only one I am prepared to carry though!).
