Ok this is going to sound like a stupid question but how soon after DTD can you take a pregnancy test?
Do I wait for AF to be late or do I wait a couple of weeks?

some pregnancy tests are marketed as being able to be used up to 5 days before period is due but i always waited until period was late. lots of people test early though.

Depends on when you ovulated really. I have got positive tests as early as 8 or 9 days after ovulation but that is very early

The earliest I have gotten a positive is 10 days after ovulation with a first response

I think if you can wait til about 12dpo you'll know for sure. I never get a BFP until then so this month I AM NOT testing early (keep telling myself this!!!). go onto the first response website and there is a little tool to tell you when to test - you put in your last period date and length of cycle. I ov'd last Thursday and it's telling me I can start testing next Tuesday so that's 12 days after?
