I'm just browsing the net & trying to see if i find anything I like for myself to wear to DD1's confirmation.
I haven't even got herself sorted yet but I want to keep my eyes open for something for myself too and at a reasonable reasonable, did I mention reasonable price lol..

I have DD2 dressed - got her an outfit from penneys so she is sorted & DH is getting a suit.

So any ideas.

I think i would like to wear a dress considering I'm losing some weight but I just don't know what to go for: style , colour - I just havent a clue.

Dorothy Perkins have some gorgeous dresses at the moment. Go in and try a few to see what style you feel most comfortable with. Very reasonable too!

My DD is not making her confirmation but she wants to go to the church and I have gotten her a lovely white blazer and navy jeans..from Zara was going to get her a red top or something for underneath...So the question is do I have to dress up? I would feel silly getting a dress especially that she is not making her confirmation..but I dont want to be like a knacker with all the other mammies getting dressed up. Its on the 9th of March BTW so not long now...

I found the dress sense of the parents during dd1's confirmation on Saturday was much more toned down then for the communion.
Most of the fathers were wearing jeans with a jacket or jumper and the mothers were much more relaxed too. Nice, but nothing major if you know what I mean.

Most dads wore jeans with shirt/ jacket. Woman in very simple dresses, trousers, jeans, white jeans with a nice top. No big accesoires, heavy make up. No body out dressed their dd or ds.
