The prayers must have worked wonders as my sister was discharged yesterday......a week early. She really pushed herself through the dizziness and sickness to try and walk as the surgeon said she could go home once he saw her walk. She still needs assistance past a metres of walking as her head starts pounding and she gets overcome by the dizziness but each day it gets a bit better. Just so happy to have her home.

Ladybug08 glad to hear your sister got through surgery ok.
My sister had a brain tumour before (secondary to another tumour two years before) and they also got 80% of it with surgery, the remainder with radiotherapy.
I look back on that time now and shudder but am very glad she is here, cancer free, more than 15 years later. She has a few health problems still but cancer is not one of them.
Best wishes to your sister in her recovery.

Thanks everyone, it's a slow recovery and she has a lot of pain and sickness and she is trying to push through it but some days it's all too much. Just have to take each day as it comes......
