Thanks everyone, the prayers must be working! She was 8 hours in the operating theatre and they got 80% and very happy with the result. She has a long road but the worrying bit for now is over.

I'm so glad surgery went well.

Ds had major brain surgery last year and his recovery afterwards was nothing short of amazing. I hope it will be the same for your sister.
