Oh the pain...f&@*.
I am having bh contractions which of themselves are not painful but they are pushing babys head onto my bladder in the most excrutiatingly painful way- like the worst cystitis on the planet. 2 Nights I have been up now every hour and I am exhausted. Its relentless and whats worse in no way productive like real contractions.
Has anyone had this and can give any advice on relief? sorry for moaning but i am just so tired.

Oh tea, I hope it's the start of something :D The baby's head pushing down like that may trigger something more substantial soon. In the meantime the only advice I can give is to sit on a ball and roll with the pains. I also found paracetamol helpful when I was at that point.
Hope you get some rest, it's all very exciting now

I was exactly like that for around 2-3 nights before ds2 was born. Hope it's the same for you and this lo makes an appearance soon :-)
The ball and paracetamol worked for me to ease things a bit.

Thanks ladies. I am close to certifiable at the moment from lack of sleep.

I was like that for 3 nights on dd2 and went into labour the 4th. I slept on the couch and moaned and bounced, whinged and bounced and moaned some more  I also got big into come dine with me

I'm all jealous of you though because soon it will end and that brings with it a spanky new baby. Good luck

Tea, get back in line!
I have found this time round that my BH are a bit more painful than just regular BH.
I was sitting on my ball yesterday and had slight backache with them, so much so that I started to time them and breathe thru them. They were pushing the head right down on my nether regions.
I think it was the pressure of the BH and me bouncing on the ball that was doing it.

Hope we both have news soon, but like I said, get back in line!

Lol Hifive. Wishing eviction vibes for you.

Had this on ds2 too but was in hosp so had nothing to do but try and sleep. Managed to get 3 or 4 hours anyway. Phew.

Had a lot of painful BH just before the real thing, so hopefully this is the start for you!
