Hi,
The pat of butter is 2ppts
Our leader did a class yesterday about portion control
She had a pat of butter and said it was 2 ppts.
She also said that if you are in a restaurant and you get the pat of butter with your bread or scone more often than the butter is rock hard...that is why you so sometimes might end up using 2 of them.
She said put the pat of hard butter in your fist for a little while and give it a bit of a heat...that way you will soften it and not use as much.

Best way to soften butter is pop it on top of the teapot for a few seconds!

I was coming through the airport last week and starving, but I avoiding all the fast food joints and instead opted for a packet of Mexican Mix (nuts, seeds etc). Unfortunately I ate it before checking the points - 34 points for the bag!!! :wow: I'd have been better off with a big mac meal  Never again!
