I've started getting bad, all day nausea, but no puking (touch wood) yet and it's horrible!
I've been drinking ginger ale and it helps to a point but it's not doing much tbh. I've also got Sepia tablets from health shop and they've done nothing at all but I'm going to give them at least a week just in case whatever's in them needs to build up in my system.

So what worked for you?
And how long did the nausea last for?

I took Nuxvom when pregnant with DD. Its homeopathic - really helped!

This time its not *that* bad, i'm advocating sitting on my ass on the couch feeling sorry for myself but I know that DH isnt going to put up with it for very much longer.

sniffing citrus smells - i was like a loon going around with a lemon all the time
not letting myself get hungry - i'd snack on pretzels and cashews.
sipping non-fizzy drinks - lemon ice tea was my saviour
resting if i could - fatigue made nausea a hundred times worse
sucking sour sweets
fruit rennies.

Kangaroo, I like the sound of sour sweets! Which kind did you get?
Too much liquid seems to set me off so I'm probably not drinking nearly as much as I should be, it's a bit of a viscious circle!

A can of coke worked wonders for me with the sickness but not for my teeth :sigh:

i bought ridiculously expensive sweets called Preggie Pops (the name alone was enough to make me barf!) in the Pregnancy Store on Dawson street which i suspect is gone now but i'm sure any sour sucky sweet would do the job just as well.

Travel Sick bands worked for me along with not letting myself get hungry. On Doctors orders I always had Original Lucozade and Carr's Water Crackers in my bag. I pretty much lived on that till 18 weeks

Mine was travel bands, didnt work 100% and I couldnt find them here so had to get dh to get me 1 pair on a business trip, lucky they were gray cos I wore them night and day. Other thing my sis told me was coke, not pepsi, open a can in the morning and sip it during the day,not being a coke person it would still be quarter full by pm but it did help. Ginger ale did nothing for me nor ginger biscuits.

Ginger tea, used to make it just pop a piece of ginger into boiled water.
Not very tasty but anything to keep it at bay.

Coke even though I hate it worked wonders, toast and those Kellogg's cereal bars with the purple wrapper never want to see them again after babs arrives!!! Sicknesses lasted for at least 20 weeks a lot longer then on DS

Eating something nearly the whole time, if I left myself to get hungry I felt so sick and din't feel like eating anything so a vicious circle! Didn't realy matter what, a plain biscuit, a sweet/choc or a yogurt mostly.

The only thing that cured me was a week on a drip then anti nausea meds.

However, on bad days I still find mr freezes help, i keep a box of the small ones in the freezer I don't know what it is. It they do help, I cant drink water unless it has tons of ice in it.
