Just wondering how to send the present? How do you usually send it,in a box,an envelope, etc?

Im brutal for wrapping. I had waste so i use old envolopes or even plastic bags (depends what im send ing of course.
I re-use envolopes that people send me all the time. :)

For one swap i got a gift bag and put the gift inside and sellotaped it shut :) looked nice.... or so i thought lol

Without giving too much away, I bought my Mam shoes for Christmas the same day as most of my swap presents, so I used that box to put the swap presents in. Was pleasantly surprised today at the post office when I found out my shoebox full of goodies cost less to register post than an A5 sized book

just wondering...

I think a shoebox is the way to go for sending my swappee her gifts, but is it ok that it's not a plain un-marked box iykwim.

will taping up a shoebox and sticking a label on the top do or should i wrap the shoebox?

sorry probably a stupid question but i've never actually sent a package before :stupid:

I think you're overthinking how to wrap/send the Magic Mum swaps.

I've received in the past swaps that were wrapped in a deconstructed Dunnes Stores paper shopping bag, in wrapping paper (though how that managed to stay in one piece through the entire postal service I'll never know), in brown paper, in padded envelopes, in Jiffy bags, in mail bags and so on.

So long as what you're sending is protected (I'd suggest getting some bubble wrap if you don't already have it) then just putting it into an envelope of the relevant size should be fine.

These might be useful:

or maybe these:

Don't worry about the finish on the shoe box, if that is how you're planning on sending it. Just make sure that it's well protected would be my advice.
