Ah thanks for asking him! I have already left out a pan with sausage in (plus "special seasoning" !!) but the fe*kers would not touch it - they never even took one piece away! If I could kill one crow I know which one I would choose! Just giggling to myself thinking of what I did earlier...trying to kill 2 birds with one stone!!!!!!!!

Don't do anything mean to them as crows can recognise a human face for up to 3 years :nervous:

Are you being serious??!! Guess that means one thing...............shoot them dead!!!!!!!

Well I tried the white paper suggestion on the bedroom window last night. Can't remember if that was an MM suggestion on in a link by a MM! I taped about half way up the window - NO CROWS AT THE WINDOW THIS MORNING!!!!!! They were still tappy happy downstairs. So tonight I am going to do the same thing with all the downstairs windows and the glass at front door and see how it goes...............just hope the census man doesn't call or any other visitors, how to explain why you have all your windows half covered in A4 sheets of paper!!!!

Glad the paper worked for you. People wil probablyl think you are a conspiracy theorist afraid of the government spying on you

My dad had the same problem and hanging cd's in the windows worked, not sure why, maybe the bright reflection put them off? On the up side I got rid of loads of dreadful cd's

Taurus my dad has been having an ongoing battle with the crows for the past year. Its a kind of family joke now :D

Since he retired his daily routine is feeding the birds in the garden and photographing them. But the crows were knocking open the bird feeder and scaring away the finches and smaller birds.

He found a dead crow on the road and hung it upside down in the garden and that was the end of the crows for about a week. Of course the thing stunk to high heaven  - Postman must have thought he'd gone mad.

But then they came back - so next he got a figure of an owl. It was about a foot high - the type you'd get in a gardening shop. And he put it on top of the fence post - no crows for another while, but he relised they copped on it wasn't real as it didn't move (crows are intelligent birds), so now he moves the owl around once a week. He just puts it on a different post or moves it a few feet, and so far its worked. He's delighted (was becoming slightly obsessed with his ventetta against the crows), but maybe you could try that??

Another thing that works is windchimes - the shinier the better. Let me know how you get on

Thanks Dessertmoon - I will add it to the list!! You're poor dad! But you get so obsessive over it. Knowing you are going to be woken up to it every morning is depressing.

I'd say they already call me that, lol! I've asked my dad (who got the poison before) to do the sandwich and see what happens. I will also visit a few gardening shops over the next few days and see what owls/ducks/sprays/gunmen I can find!
