Girls, we've had a few new twin pregnancies here recently and I thought it might be a good idea for the rest of us twin mums to put a single post together with all our stats that new expectant twin mums might find interesting. I know I trawled through loads of posts trying to find this kind of information when I was pregnant/ Maybe if we have a lot of participants then new twin mums would find it useful. We can either sticky it or bump it up. What do you think? I suppose just copy and paste the headings I've used? I'll go first in my next post.

Any other Info: I know twin pregnancies can be quite tough and a bit scary but the other side of the coin is that it is also very possible to have a relatively easy pregnancy. My only complaint towards the end was kankles which disappear fairly soon after I had the girls.

Any other Info: They both gained weight quickly. Expressed for the first while and they both latched onto the breast at 5 days. Combined feeding (mainly breast) until nearly four months.
The pregnancy was fine, thankfully no sickness at all, just a sore back and very hungry. The delivery was fine as well (four hours in total).

Special Care: Yes - bigger twin for 1 night mostly for observation, smaller twin for 15 nights - on tube feeds.
Other info: Diagnosed with TTTS at 19 weeks. Laser surgery at 19+5. Closely monitored for remainder of pregnancy, smaller twin never caught up but was fine - very little size difference between them now. Bigger twin breastfed for 5 months, smaller twin mix fed - never learned to bf well.
