For those of you who had IVF twins..how long did you last?

35+5 and both were fine just a little small, Your flying it now!

Thanks girls. Keep the poll going. It's interesting results.... I read somewhere that IVF twins seem to predict a few weeks early 34-36 weeks. So while not a huge risk, they don't tend to go all the way to 38. It was only 1 study though, so it's fascinating that the poll seems to agree with this.

Hope this is helpful to all the IVF twin mums to be behind me. I am really massive now and walking is an ordeal.... but can't wait for my two little munchkins to arrive and meet them.

It's a long way back to Oct 2006 when the GP who did my DH's SA, gave him the results and told him that it was unlikely he would ever be able to have kids and that we should consider adoption (imagine ... in the one breath). Modern science and SIMs are wonderful and we are so lucky to live in these times... :biggrin:

Congrats KNockedup! Its the most wonderful thing having twins, you have so much to look forward to its a very very special time. I voted <36, I was the same as Roz, went at 35 + 2 , went into labour at 35+1 after being induced. Wishing the very best of luck hon x

Just said I'll fill this in for nostalgia's sake... I only went 34 weeks in the end ! Didn't wish for longer at the time I wrote original post but what I would have given in the end for a 37 weeker !
