This may be a stupid question but I just got a BFP and am wondering if it's ok to still carry my 10 month old in the sling?

Yes, thats fine as long you are feeling well and have no problems. A ten month old still needs to be carried and it is better for you doing it with a sling.
What sling are you using?

Hi there,

I am almost 7 months pregnant and my DS had just turned a year when I got my BFP and wasn't walking. In order to save my back, I invested in an buckle sling, an ABC carrier. He absolutely loves it and I can still wear it, even with the bump as the straps clip off and can be criss crossed in front between the boobs for extra support. I had a wrap sling for him before that but I found it too difficult and fiddly especially when I started getting bigger. Also, with the wet winter months nobody wants to be messing with a swathe of material.

Hope that helps!

Jo :)

Thanks for that Joanne!

Apologies for not replying earlier Anja, I have a mei tai and a peanut shell. I just use the peanut shell for taking the weight of him when he's on my hip and I'm hopping in and out of the shops etc. Then I use the mei tai for long walks as it's soooooo comfy! I never carry him on my back though, I just find it more comfortable to have him on the front, plus I can give him cuddles :inlove:
But I guess I may start practicing back carries from now on!
