Hi,

Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday next 27th of March at 8.00 p.m. in the Conference Centre at Moran's Silversprings hotel.

We will be in the TARA SUITE on the first floor.
Please see the attached link for directions to the Silversprings hotel,
http://www.silverspringsmoranhotel.com/ ... directions

Entrance fee is €5 per person attending.
Our meetings are open to members and non members.

This month's speaker and her husband adopted and brought home their first child, a beautiful little girl aged 4 last October. They had waited eight years to bring home their first child. It was a dream come true for them. But what happens when you bring home an older child - how do you deal with language differences, eating, sleeping and the countless other little (and not so little) things that need to happen as you negotiate each day together.

Our speakerl will give us an honest "warts and all" account of their experience as a family adopting an older child - the challenges and the many many joys.We expect to finish at 9.30 and there will be plenty of opportunity to chat over a cuppa after the meeting for those who wish.

We do hope you can attend and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday next.

We are in the process of writing our Spring newsletter due out mid April, we are looking for someone who has completed their adoption, to write a piece about their adoption journey for our forum. If this is something you would like to do please contact us at
http://www.familiesthroughadoption.ie/contact-us-3/

We are also looking for articles which you think might be of interest to others,so that we can add it to the newsletter.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Regards,
