not a joke. But i called esop office who say there are no letters in the post. This is suppose to have come from esop board member at conference.

Girls a friend of mine who still works in eircom told me there was going to be a full allocation (12k) in July. He seemed pretty sure so here's hoping.

My friend just rang the share line there and was told NO decision has been made on any pay out???

Probably wont be any decisions made until the outcome of today's court hearing at the earliest

Esot will cease to be a share holder from June 17 so they will have to wind up and pay out what's left of the money. 15k for a full alocation but its anyone's guess how long they take to do that, rumour has it 2 payouts July and Dec. I presume we will get some kind of letter soon.

Ah i was hoping for an update too. I would be suspicious of when the board will finish this up. I would say they will drag it out as long as possible. loads of rumours in eircom about 9k in july and 3 in dec ( that for a full allocation)

Looks like you can book your holiday appledrop. Check out the Irish Times today, apparently we are getting approx 8K in July and the rest in Nov/Dec. Crazy that we have to read about it in the newspapers despite the fact that DH works there.

As you may know, the High Court has approved the eircom restructuring plan and eircom will exit examinership on 11th June 2012. The ESOT will cease to be a shareholder in eircom with effect from that date.
The eircom ESOP Trustee board is now in the process of winding down the eircom ESOP. As an initial first step, it has taken a decision to make a distribution to beneficiaries of approximately €85 million in shares as soon as possible. These are shares that are unaffected by the restructuring in eircom.
Arrangements to progress the appropriation are underway and you can expect to receive a copy of ESOP Extra 24 in due course. ESOP Extra 24 will also contain further information in relation to the wind down of eircom ESOP.
In the context of the wind down the eircom ESOP Trustee intends to appropriate all remaining shares to beneficiaries as quickly as possible.

No this payment not the vodaphone shares so there will be 2 payouts anyway.
