I have a 6 week old baby boy. He is extremely hungry and loved his bottle.

I'm currently feeding him 5 oz every 4 1/2 hours.

Am I over feeding him?

All advice much appreciated

Congrats on your baby boy  I don't think it sounds like too much & if hes happy, sleeping well, pooping & weeing etc then I wouldn't worry just check the back of the formula box & it will tell you how much you should be giving for the babies age/weight.

Just had the PHN over and she said the same as the nutritionalist in Temple st yesterday.

Between 1-2mts, they need between 650ml and 900ml a day.

DD2 takes only 620-640 or something but thats fine, once she stays on her percentile.

It's all about their percentile. Once they don't pack on the weight and jump way over or under the curve then they're fine.
