edwina, i might be wrong, but i think it takes a little longer for jaundice to fully clear in a bf baby.

my niece had jaundice for at least 3 months, and she was fine, just the yellow hue.

id say dont be worrying.

Delighted to hear everything is ok.

My DD2 and DD3 were 5 weeks early and had jaundice. I was persuaded by the neonatologist to supplement breastfeeding with bottle to clear the juandice. DD2 never took to breastfeeding again and I had to express. Good on you sticking with the breastfeeding.

HI,

I was told to leave my daughter in the sunlight as much as possible (she was a May baby) as this is like being under the lamp in hospital. I used to put her in the pram in the window - with just a sheet and this helped greatly.

Glad the Doc said it was nothing to worry about,

The girls are great for answering queries...I'd be lost without MM as well!
