Hi Everybody, so glad i found this. I too had a prem baby. She was due Valentines Day but i was taken into hospital at week 26 with severe pre eclampsia and stayed there until i had Holly on 10 Dec @ 30 wks and 4 days gestation, she was only 2lbs 2oz when born and its so frightening watching from outside while she is hooked up to all those tubes etc, thankfully we were so lucky with her, she spent seven weeks in the baby unit and only got one infection while we were in there. I too was landed in a room full of new babies and its so hard not knowing if your little one will make it, watching all the new mothers grinning from ear to ear and being so happy while your head is full of worry.
Thank god all is ok though, its so nice to read about other people who experienced the same as me and whose little ones are now flying around!at the time i felt as if no one understood! Holly is 16 weeks old now getting cuter by the day.
She is only just wearing her new born clothes now!
