Do charity shops take sheets, towels, duvet covers, pillow cases (previously used)?

I've a large pile and I'm not sure whether they take them or whether I should put them in a recycling bin. They're all perfectly serviceable: we just have too many.

Thanks!

A local woman refuge or homeless shelter would be grateful for bedlinen and towels. My local womens refuge is always looking for those sorts of donations. Maybe they might something similar near you.

I recently gave a bag of sheets , duvet covers etc to SVDP. When I questioned if they accepted them, they just asked if they were clean.

Great lot of suggestions there. I thought of the Women's Refuge this morning so I'll give them a call first.

Thanks all!
