Just playing a waiting game now as the plan from the consultants and hospital management has been given to John Bulfin and by tues or wed next we should hear:
A) operating theatre being re-opened
B) At least some beds in St Joseph's opened(I'm hoping)
C) bloods being transferred to St James hospital therefore immediately freeing up 2.5 million for the hospital to Spend :Jumpy:

D) the three hospitals ie Cappagh,Tallaght & Crumlin to work best together to clear Scoliosis surgery list of 67 patients.

So watch this space :thumbsup:

Did you hear the consultant on the radio today complaining that he'd been given a pay increase he didn't ask for, meanwhile essential services are being cut! Good man I say!

That is fantastic news!!! Hoping that the appointment goes ahead for her and for you.

We still need your support big time - nothing has yet been confirmed to us nor have the government confirmed that the budget will not be further cut next year, this might only be the start. So please, sign the petition if you have not yet done so, write to your TD or to the Minister.

That's great news mum2tld . Fingers crossed it won't get cancelled again . Well done on sharing your story too , it took me a while to work out who D was in the paper !

Haven't been on here for ages so good to read the updates . I got a letter full of excuses from Mary Harney's office last week in reply to the letter my teddy brought with him . No promises to change anything , just lame excuses .
