Oh Michelle,

I think about you so much, you are amazing and are such a credit to Cormac. He must be very proud to have you as his mum! You need to do whatever gives you comfort on his anniversary, don't worry about what anyone else thinks, or what they want you to do.

This will be a very very hard Christmas and new year for you, acknowledge that and don't feel bad for not wanting to be involved in all the frivolity that goes with the holiday season.

Take care
G
xx

Everytime I see one of your posts I think of you, and how you must all be feeling at this time of year.

You're in my thoughts and prayers xx

Allgirlz I'm good today thanks,
Think we are going to go away the 3 of us for New Years and have a mass at some stage in our house in Jan.
House is teeny so only going to have close family and a few friends. Its amazing the difference talking about things makes, have felt a huge strain on our relationship the last while and thats why I've been feeling down too. Was avoiding bringing Cormac into conversation so I wouldn't upset DP. Feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders this morning.

Glad to hear you feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders Michelle. Sounds like a great idea to get away just the 3 of you, keep talking and talking whenever you feel you need to pet. xxx

I totally understand how you feel, you poor thing. My DS died Jan29th and I feel myself getting "down" from Sept onwards  , it will be 4 yrs this year so it's a bit easier. But my god that first year is somewhere I don't ever want to go again, it's horrific.

Will be thinking of you and your little man over the Christmas period and New Year xxx

Hi Michelle, I have been thinking about you also. I think you should do whatever you and DP feel is right for you both, don't worry about others feelings yours are the only ones that matter.
Take care
Sabrina

Thanks sabrina

I'm really grateful for all the support I have here on MM, I really don't know how I would have got through the past year if I didn't have a place to vent when I can't at home so thanks ladies
