I HAD intended to do it, but my running fell by the wayside. I am not long back into it now so can't do it this time. I want to run the thing not walk it , so not this time.

Next year Biddy! Great stuff Animella. I would love to do around 56 or even better 55 but I have never done under 56 so that would be really pushing myself. I think I would be just really happy if I managed anything under 59 and to cross the finish line in one piece. How's about you? How's the training going?

Biddy, we will make sure you do it next year!

Not getting a lot of training done mumto2,I am cycling more than running. It took me over 63 mins (63:40 I think) last year. I'd love to get in around 56 too but would be content with 57/58 mins. And if it's as hot as last year will just be happy not to collapse!

Must have a look out for her among the masses ! Not really thinking about mini marathon TBH now.., DD's First Communion is next week so my head is melted about that instead.

Looking forward to the running course on Saturday but I will have to try and relax and not think " I should be shopping/ cleaning etc etc ! "

Hope you both enjoy it

 Lovely pictures and great to see how many charities benefited.

My chip time wasn't any better though! Amazing to see how much people can improve over a year.. I looked back at last years results and so many women I know ran faster by 6 or 7 minutes. I only managed a 5.5 min improvement!

Were you happy ?

I was delighted! That's my best on a 10km but I know I can do better but I just need to push myself. My time in the paper was 56.41 and i had 56.11 but i'll let them off with it  What's next for you?

That's great . Must look at the photos. Hope there isn't one of me at the finish .

No races for a few weeks due to family FHCs! Claremorris 10k on June 9th, Milltown on 16th and Galway Womens Mini Marathon on 24th all going well :)

And you? Ballina half and Greenway 10k?

Did you do the one on Sunday, nappyfree?

OMG no I'm only a novice just went to support friends and family. If I get up now and go for my run today I should be on target for next year, God the motivation is low today
