Just curious, myself and dd1 have straight hair but dd2 has a mass of curls ( not sure if they will last though). We were in Denmark at weekend and it was commented on a lot - we didn't see any other kids with curly hair at all so seemed to be unusual.

Straight and very thick, nightmare to try get a curl to stay in. DD1 is the same as me, dd2 has a bit of a kink in her hair

Neither
I have wavy hair - wish it was one or the other.. My dd1 had a mass of blond curls for the first few years of her life, and now has wavy hair, and dd2 has thick straight blond hair.
My dh has no hair :D

Wavy hair

It can be straight or curly if I make the effort either way.

J had curls at back of his hair up to 2 years old, now it's thick and pretty straight. A has a full head of blonde curls, no sign of them going either. His hair is exactly what mine was like when I was the same age (mine darkened to dark brown though).

Mine is straight and very fine, like baby hair.
Dds is straight and thick, she has lovely hair.
DSs has curls now but I don't think they will last, dd had them too.

I picked other, my hair is a big ball of frizz and doesn't straighten easily. It's neither curly or straight, takes the hairdresser about an hr to get it straight, it's impossible to do myself. If I wash it and put wax in it does go curly but there's a lot of it still iykwim. Id love it to be one or the other.

I have curly hair... had straight hair when I was a child but it went curly with puberty. I can straighten it with a GHD but it can't really be blow dried straight, its goes curly again within an hour.
DS has wavy hair

I have very straight hair.
My first two children have curly hair, but DS's hair is cut short as he hates it so it's not seen! DD1(8.5) has long corkscrew spiral curls, which admittedly I find it hard to manage!

My third had baby curls until a few months ago and then I got her hair cut and it's now straight like mine, and my fourth didn't even have a baby curl, just straight from the beginning!

I have thick wavy frizzy hair that is a nightmare to do anything with. I have to either dry and straighten it or put curl cream in it after I wash it if leaving the house.

Same here. I have to straighten it when wearing it down as it would look awful if I just let it be.

Mine is very thick and poker straight, it hasn't been cut in 18mths though so is in dire need of a chop :eh: . Dd1's is think and very frizzy and curly, a nightmare to manage. Dd2's is poker straight and sits perfectly even before it's brushed. Ds1 has wavy hair and ds2 is poker straight as well.

Curly - it naturally falls into ringlets if it's in good condition :)

DH has wavy/curly hair too, all three of our kids have poker straight hair. Go figure.

Thick wavy hair, so have to put effort in to straighten it or get out the curling wand to curl it.
I tend to go for the straightener alot.

I have thick hair that is wavy, If I leave it to dry naturally it's curly but easy enough to straighten.

Exactly this. It is so thick that I am completely unable to blow dry it myself. It's the only thing I miss about working, I used to e able to afford to get my hair blow dried twice a week, now I'm lucky if it's twice a year!

I have curly hair as does dd - huge head of curls and she isn't 2 until St Patricks day. When it is dry and curly it is only to her neck, when I brush it out it is halfway down her back.

DH also has curly hair but keeps it shaved. DS had curly hair before his first cut but it wasn't the same curls as dd's. Hers are really ringlety, the same as mine when mine is long enough.

People always comment on her hair. It is strawberry blonde as well so is very cute.

Naturally curly. Like Iuil it will fall into ringlet type curls when it's in good condition - just have to put a bit of mousse or gel in it just after it's been washed to stop it going frizzy.

I went through a phase of straightening it all the time and basically straightened the curl out of it - my hair was in awful condition and wouldn't curl for me anymore. I ended up getting a loose perm put into it to encourage my natural curl to come back!

DD doesn't seem to have inherited my curls, but she has fabulously thick hair with a wave at the ends - when her hair is freshly washed she looks like she belongs in the 60s with Farrah Fawcett style hair!

Straight hair here although when it gets wet (as in rain or the lovely misty weather we get so much of) it goes curly.

If I don't blow dry it after washing it's wavy, but I have a very big cows lick on my hairline that has a mind of it's own  so I have to blow dry it. DS1 has inherited my cow's lick God love him!
