I need some tips. I know I shouldn't be complaining and I am really trying not too but this morning sickness business is driving me up the wall. It is lasting all day long. The last couple of days it has cOme on me.
Mainly just very nauseous with that lump in your throat. I was sick for the first time tonight and i thought it might bring me relief but it hasn't. Now my belly is sore from vomiting and my throat feels raw and I'm still queasy as hell.

Any tips on how to combat this. Never had this on any of my pregnancies even with my 2 girls.
I'm hopin it means things are going well too but jeez I'm in bits.

Eat something small. I know it sounds mad eating when you feel ill but an empty stomach always made me worse. I had terrible all day sickness on all 3 of mine.

missed the announcement congrats

I found eating little & often was the only thing that helped getting hungry was a disaster because as soon as I had an empty tummy I was dry retching :(

Hope your feeling better soon

I can't help you Wendy, I was sick for the full 9 months with no let up. Was worth it in hindsight though! ;)

Well haven't made an official announcement yet. Had a scary week last week with bleeding and cramping. Scan didn't show much as it was too early. Sonography was a useless guit see my other post in special attention 'need positive vibes'.
Beta levels are increasing and I am back for another scan this Wednesday. So I'm still not out of woods yet but taking this pregnancy sickness as a good sign.

Dried crackers. Here was me taking them with butter lol.

Congrats, I found gingernut biscuts the best , i just kept nibbling them all day, I also used to drink ginger tea, I used keep a packet of biscuits by the bed and nibbled them before i got up.
I pity anyone morning sickness, I had it all day long for the full nine months , it was a relief when i woke up after DS being born not to get sick. I havent eaten a ginger biscuit since though

Salty Things helped me more than sweet. Couldn't deal with sweet things at all

Salted cashews, rice cakes, salty crackers (like tuc) helped. Nibbling regularly rather than letting myself go hungry.

Keeping hydrated too - snapple ice tea and cranberry juice helped.

Oh god just been sick again. Although this time I think I feel a bit better.
Each time after I get sick I'm shaking. Is this normal. I don't have a temperature.

Oh Wendy I had no idea congrats!!!

I'm sure your just shaking from the sheer effort, vomiting is so tough off the body.

Sip full fat coke, ice cold, and nibble some ready salted crisps, Pringles are good.

It's horrible but yes, a good sign x
