We went and it was really brilliant. That was the 4th year it was on but I only heard about it as one of my Facebook friends posted about it.

We got our names all written in Japanese calligraphy and we are going to get them framed.

Yeah. We went yesterday. We went last year and the year before too. There was far more at it this year though. There was a lot more for the kids to do this year.

Janey we just found it totally crowded and hectic, and the queues were so long... We ended up buying two expensive bottles of water and just going into the walled gardens!

We bumped into some friends which was nice but it was just a bit frantic...

The queue at the Yamamori stand was ridiculous. Everyone decided they only wanted food from there I think even though there were other stands selling similar food.

We arrived at 12 and it wasn't too bad then but as the day went on it was pretty hectic alright. I brought water with me. A lot of the Japanese people had very interesting looking picnics with them.

Oh we didn't go near the food... (amazingly for me!)

We got there shortly after 12 and left just after 4. We brought a picnic and then DH and I took turns bringing the girls around. We couldn't believe the crowds though. It wasn't as crowded last year.
