They're having an open weekend. We took the DCs swimming there yesterday, had the pool to ourselves, then went up killiney hill to the playground, and then down to the beach for a walk. Twas a lovely day and cost the price of a few bread rolls and packet of ham in tesc*. Thinking of doing it again today. :)

Sounds lovely. My Dad used to always bring us swimming there as kids then into Jesters restaurant for dinner. :biggrin:

Thanks for posting. Went up there this afternoon with DD, DS and DH. Had a ball.
DD even got her face painted!

I wonder will thy do this again? We often go there on a Sunday for afternoon tea and dd is always eyeing up the pool.

I think it was a big success so they will probably do it again. We ended up going today also and there were certainly more people. I'll post if I hear in the correct board this time :blush:
