 Post subject: Time Length for Coddle?

Location: Half the time I don't know, other half I'm lost!
Anyone do a coddle? Any idea length of time. I've always have it with boiled sausages so won't be frying first. Would 6-8 on low be enough?

No, I don't think so. Maybe if you parboil the potatoes or cut them really small, but th coddle I did was a disappointment (you lose that whole mushiness) and if I was doing it again at the very least I'd give the potatoes and carrots ten minutes in the microwave first. We use the slow cooker four or five times a week but I think I'll be sticking to a pot for my coddle.
