i would suggest getting xray done sooner rather than later. its very simple process, and will give you peace of mind.

it would rule out hip dyslexia, which i think gp might be refering to.

my 1st cousins little boy was diagnosed with it at about 18mths old, as started walking unbalanced.

it runs in families, so if you know anyone in your family with it, do get it checked out.

my sister had it at birth, and own dd was diagnosed with ddh at birth too.
