Girls my beloved DSLR camera just started to play up today. Last time I used it everything was fine but I got her out the bag today and one of the shutters seems jammed. (ie half the pic is black and a shutter error message is coming up).

I hoping it wont be too costly, unfortunatly she isnt under warrenty anymore  . Anyone know any good place I can take her in and get them to look at her please.

Its a Nikon D60 !

If it's a Nikon I would bring it into Bermingham Cameras in Dublin who are the main dealer for Nikon or contact Nikon Service in Rathmoylon, Co. Meath directly on 046 9557151 (postal return service but might be cheaper and quicker).#

Is it the mirror that is stuck, ie. is it half black when you look through the finder?

Its not half black when I look thru the viewfinder , but I think its the mirror getting stuck half way. It clicks (Not properly then the pic will show with half of it black on the screen and a error message comes up asking me to press shutter release??????

Thanks for the info.
