I have gone through 2 months of Yasminelle after switching pills (other one didn't agree with me). I am due to go back on the 3rd packet tomorrow and I have not had a bleed yet.

Is this usual for this pill to maybe not get a bleed every so often?

Went to the chemist to get perscription and asked him about no bleed - he said can happens but would recommend doing a test so bought a 2 test kit of first response. Its fecking positive. Both of them. I didn't miss a single pill. My head is just spinning....

Oh dear, but congrats on your pg.
I've started to take this pill (after nearly 8 yrs of none) and took my first this eve, but now don't know if I actually have my AF or not!(long story). Freaking out now reading that you got pg when taking it properly

HiFive, I took it for a good few years and never had any bother with it. There's a 12 hour window with it as far as I remember. Just make sure of the usual things - use other precautions when on antibiotics, vomitting or have diahorrea and you should be grand!

thanks :lookround: - was a big shock but feeling better about it now

When I went to GP he told me 1 in 400 women get pregnant on the pill using it correctly. He said its true of all pills...mini pills have higher failure rates. What really freaked me out was that some pills now have folic acid added to them...in case of failure! Google "Bayer"

I read your other thread hifive - I'd keep taking it regardless of af or not. I still have my pill information from Yasminelle here and it says you can start it anytime, it might just take longer to be affective if its not on first day of bleed.

My Dh is going for snip!
