I'm looking at names for the bump. So far I have a boys name but I'm going to kill dh over girls names. He's just said 'for god sake dj the baby has to grow up with this name' I don't think my names are bad I think they are fab. He's not coming up with anything.

So far my girls names are esme or Matilda. Be honest do u like them?

If I had to pick one of those i would pick esme. But honestly I dont like either. But thats just my opinion. You may not like the name I have for my dd. It's your child so its your choice. Although I guess you and dh have to agree somewhat. So I have been no help what so ever! Sorry!

What does it matter what any of us think if your DH hates both of them?! Presumably you'll have to come up with a different name that he is okay with?!
Fwiw I think they are both nice names, I'd pick Esme if I was choosing.

Love them - but I'm not the father. Or you can do what I did with DD - shout out the name you like just as they are being born. Kind seals the deal. It was a morphine induced act but it still worked. Funny thing is all this time later I prefer the name DH had picked!

Yes but your only 16 weeks. You have another 24 weeks to go. Plenty of time for you and your dh to agree on a name together.

Laura.

We have a Mathilde. I call her Mattie most of the time. Can't bear it when people call her Maddy, though. Too many connotations.

I liked Maria, until the baby was born.

The she became Catherine Elizabeth aka Katy.

Better to wait and you will know when the baby arrives...

No, we didn't at all. Had ideas of course but it always changed. Poor baby number 4- we never discussed names as we were in shock as we had 2 other smallies. I lay awake that night after she was born and couldn't sleep as she had no name! So I started at A!!

We called her Aoife.
