What's it like at Christmas ? Is it just wet and miserable ? Or can it be enjoyed regardless of weather ?

we went two years ago.it was minus 4,and a little snow,it was beautiful.how ever the ques were long,so if you go ,make out a list of the rides you want to do first, during the parade times try and do the bigs rides, book a meal or two in different places so you have a time and you dont have to wait.im not trying to put u off,we had a great time the lights the fireworks etc was just fab,and we still talk about it,we spent the new years eve there, also at this time they have just out side the village cabins set up with hot dogs hot choc, etc

Ive been at Xmas time (30th December). The Park itself is magnificent - the decorations and the way the castle is lit are just out of this world, like nothing Ive ever seen.

That being said, it did rain quite a bit and with kids being off it meant queues of up to 2 hours for things like Peter Pan.

If its school holidays you will have to put up with long queues, but the setting is really something special.

Start of December will probably be ok. Once the school holidays hit, its a different matter.

New York or DLP, either will be amazing at Xmas. Enjoy!
