Eager to educate families on the importance of nutrition in the first 1000 days of a child’s development, renowned chef, Nevin Maguire, served up deliciously nutritious meals to hundreds of delighted diners.

The First 1000 Days campaign, which focuses on 270 days of pregnancy followed by the first two years of the child’s life, aims to show parents the ways in which they can secure the long term health and development of their child.

Research has indicated that by promoting good nutrition from a young age, a child is at a reduced risk of obesity and heart disease and on the right track to endure a life time of good health.

In conjunction with the campaign’s aims, First 1000 Days ambassador, Neven, created a stunning three-course menu which was enjoyed by expectant parents, new parents, babies and toddlers over the last two days.

From the pregnancy journey to the toddler stage, the First 1000 Days aims to support both parent and child every step of the way.
