An Irish mum is given the best Christmas surprise from her son

Having been living in Alberta, YouTube user Kenzo 99 decided to give his mum the biggest shock of her life by showing up unannounced to his family home.

This mum knows nothing of the ruse until her son calls out: “Hey mam! Throw us on a cup of shcald there, will you?” As he so helpfully explains in the video description, “shcald” means tea!

Needless to say, his poor mum nearly loses her life with the shock of hearing her son’s voice, and her reaction is one of the sweetest things you will see this evening.

Christmas is a time for family from all corners of the globe to come home and spend some quality time together, so this young Wicklow man has the right idea.
